Arguably one of the least effective methods, but it is still viable. Incredibly simple to facilitate, beginner growers may opt to germinate their seeds in a glass of water. Half-fill a glass or bowl with water that is approximately 22°C (71°F).
Two or three weeks after germination, your young seedlings should be ready for their new home. At this point you have two options; transplanting them into soil pots, or taking on the challenge of hydroponics. You’ll know when the seedlings are ready to be moved because the root system should start to poke out of the bottom of the wool blocks. As long as the roots haven’t begun to engulf the bottom half of the wool block, they will seek out water and nutrients in their new surroundings and continue to grow downwards.
WHAT IS AN EXPECTED GERMINATION TIME?

Regardless of where you get your seeds from, it is best to give them a slight (and delicate) inspection before planting. Most of the time, all seeds will germinate; however, poor-quality seeds will produce a weaker plant. Unfortunately, that is something you will not find out until well into the vegetative and flowering stages.
Before you can be met with bountiful hauls of dank buds, there are several stages of cannabis growing that take precedence. Unless you can successfully germinate cannabis seeds, you won’t have a plant to harvest. Give your seeds the best possible start in life by reading our definitive guide to germination.
Your probably not gonna get all 20 seeds growing. The seeds you wanna use are the thick, "beefy" ones. usually brown in color with "tiger stripes" on them. also most regular brown seeds pop too. But defiantly not the lil green ones. Those are immature seeds
I’m not new to the board. Just a new name is all.
if they are in soil then it deppends how deep they are?? give them 7 days im sure they will break through the soil in that time.
Watch that GT and FDD. hahaha
yea your being a little impatient. When u germinate seeds in a paper towel it usually take 1-4 days for the seed to crack, and another 1-2 days before u see any decent taproots, then u plant them and another1-3 days they will pop from the soil. You just don’t see the work going on beneathe the surface. Keep it watered. Give it about a week. If ya don’t see anything in a week, week in a half, then ya have something to be worried about.
Until then. your gonna need time and patience, expecially if your working outdoors. You got til September-October buddy.
But then again pot will almost grow anywhere if the conditions are OK. But anything to make it more suitable for the plant, the more chance of maximum growth with maximum yield.
yes the soil will be to hard. You best bet to assure outdoor growth: dig a big enough hole to fit a large pot. Dispose of the dirt u dug up and fill the hole with a top soil mix or organic mix from your local nursery or hardware store. Make sure the area you plant the seeds in is an area that has loose soil that becomes spongey when wet, holds water well, and drains well.
